-SOLSTICE!!- Springtime arrives in the south hemisphere. I ALMOST didn`t fly the morning photoflight todayl as the Sun had already rose at the time I was opening the hangar.. I awoke l little bit late for that..
BUT today the Sun enters that corner of the sky called "Constelation of Libra". Yes, yesterday at night I saw the beautiful Constelation of Scorpio going down at the western horizon, this meant that, 30˚ behind it, hidden by the earth, the direction being beneath my feet, Libra, the four main stars, will get close to the Sun for the first time this year...
YES, the Sun was entering that quarter of the sky, and this is the beginning of Sringtime here..
Enough a reazon to fly in the morning, isn`t it? So we went, and I remembered how beautiful the scenery is here at early morning, so different of the photos I`ve been taking anywhere else in the last year..
Good to be here again, where I`ve spent the last 14 years flying gliders, giving instruction and specially towing gliders to the sky and taking the morning photos..
We are back.
